It’s hard to believe that five years ago, teelaunch first launched laser-etched cutting boards. Since then, we’ve sold hundreds of thousands of high-quality cutting boards at affordable prices. But we faced a problem: bamboo wasn’t quite cutting it (pun intended).
No matter how hard we tried, the inconsistent etching and splitting of the wood were two issues that were impossible to completely eliminate. We didn’t want to sacrifice quality for cost – but with other hardwoods like maple or walnut being so expensive, what could we do?
Well, after months of hard work, we finally have an answer! By working directly with mills to get the lowest possible price for our wood, and investing in fast lasers for more efficient production times, we can offer you real hardwoods at prices previously unimaginable!
To celebrate this big victory in affordability and quality alike, starting today we say goodbye to bamboo (by June 30th) – our beloved material that served us so well in the past – and welcome in our new range of beautiful maple and walnut cutting boards. They’re easy on your wallet and even easier on the eyes – these pieces will proudly enhance your product line. Best of all, you will not have to make new designs! The templates are the same as our bamboo cutting boards so all you have to do is upload the artwork you’ve already created. Simple as that!
